Life's not fair, get used to it.

For one moment, take the time to enjoy your life. With the hustle and bustle of life, there are very few moments to sit back and enjoy what you see. Feel what you feel. And love what you love. Take the time today to enjoy your life!

My life has been full of ups and downs. There has been times when I felt like the only lonely one in this world. I always thought there was no one who could understand me, no one who actually loved me. I kept complaining to God for giving me such a miserable life. I could never achieve anything I wanted. I never worked hard, but I did try a bit. I thought only a bit of efforts could get me to success. But no, I was wrong. Things didn't workout the way I wanted. Everything went wrong... I went under depression for months. Never showed up. I have just recovered from it. Cos I learned a lesson...
God is never Unfair...
If he takes away something from you, he gives you back something good to balance the sorrows and happiness of life.We often get blind in our desires that we forget to thank that one person for what we already have. GOD.  Thank him for everything. He is the one who loves you the most, even more than your parents. There's a way to remind you of all your blessings. Whenever something memorable happens in your life, write it down on a piece of paper and mention the date. Roll it and keep it in a box. Open the box every weekend and read them. I'm sure you will feel like the best and the luckiest person in the world. I still do it. :)

Here are few of the things that didn't work for me last year,
1. Science Stream.
2. Asst. Sports Secretary.
3. Individual Championship in Athletic events.

and what God gave me instead,
1. Came up in the toppers list in the class - Humanities Stream.
2. I made last years Cluster Meet at Riyadh a memorable one. I did so much that I didn't know I could.
3. A best friend, with whom I can share anything.

For those who think that there's nothing left for you in this world cos someone you liked have betrayed you or exited your life...
Life doesn't stop whether someone comes in or goes out of your life. The length of your recovery is determined by the extent of your injuries. And its not always successful. No matter how hard we work at it, some wounds might never fully heal. You might have to adjust to a whole new way of living. Things may have changed too radically to ever go back to what they were. It might not even recognize yourself. It's like you haven't recovered anything at all. You're a whole new person with a whole new life.

That's life. These things are again coming up this year (Sports Secretary, Individual Championship..), maybe God wanted me to prove worth for the position? So. you see there is a reason behind everything. Ask yourself 'Have you been fair?'

- O - O - O -

Beginning of 2014 has been beautiful till now. Two of my elder sisters are expecting their second child this year. :') So, I'm gonna become an Aunt for the third and fourth time. Hehe.

See ya.

Losing Hope.

Hope is the little voice you hear whisper 'maybe' when it seems the entire world is shouting 'NO.'

Hope is a gift of God. It is deep within us. It is up to us to use this wonderful gift to move forward in life.
Losing hope will drag you down in life. It makes your situation worse and make you face all the negativity of life.

Most often, people commit suicide as soon as they realize they are left with no choices. There is not a soul among us who has received everything they wanted in this life. Not even ONE. There are instead people who choose to take the lessons from their broken dreams and move on in life. They move on in life to make their next dream a reality. That is Hope. Go deep within YOU and you will find HOPE.

Have Faith. You must believe that things will work out well in the end. I believe God is in control of my life and he has got good plans for me. No matter how bad the situation turns out to be, I always trust him. Time and again, things turn out to be good, often in a way that I couldn't understand earlier.

Remind Yourself of your Dreams. Ask yourself why are you doing what you are doing? What is it that you want? How will it feel after you achieve it? This will give you the Strength and Hope to get a step closer to your dreams.

Be around Supportive People. I don't have to tell you why. You know being around supportive people will encourage you to live your life to the fullest.

Help Others. This way you will shift your focus from Yourself and your situation won't look as bad as it would otherwise.

You have bigger Dreams. You have the heart to achieve them. You are better than you are. GO make it happen.

Three things in life. LEARN, LIVE and HOPE.

Last post of the year. :')
I'm thankful to all the people I've met this year. Each one of you have taught me new lessons and changed my life. Thank you. :)

Little things in life.

Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory. - Dr. Seuss

When distressing things happen and when we lose hope, we somehow pick up the pieces not realising our own inner strength. And we gain the benefit of clarity. Clarity to see what actually matters and what life is really about.
I often think of the words spoken by Robin Sharma when I'm stuck in the grasp of negativity cos usually I worry about things which ultimately doesn't matter.
It's the little things that matter in life.
Like reading a book in the sunshine, laughing out loud with friends, listening to your favourite songs and hanging out with people you love.
The things we actually take for granted are actually the things that brings us joy, even though we don't stop to realise it.

Cast your mind back in search of those moments when you were happy and content. Relive them and you will find the way to happiness. :)

Little things in my life...

* Reading a book with a hot cup of coffee.
* Turning up my favourite song and singing out loud.
* Laughing until I cry.
* Enjoying a lazy breakfast on a weekend.
* Reminiscing with friends about the good times.
* Visualising a beautiful day in a dark room.
* Insane talks with friends.

What 'little things' make you smile?

A perfect day.

"One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching." ~ Mooie

What would your perfect day look like? You usually know how you don't want your perfect day to look like. But do you really know what you want?

Mostly when I wake up in the morning, I try to visualize what my perfect day would look like and play this beautiful scene in my mind over and over again. It is a powerful stuff and I mostly get the results vividly.
Writing down your perfect day, describing it and then visualizing it is the best way to have a perfect day. I've been doing this since the past five months and it is just the best exercise I prefer to have a perfect day.
You increase the intensity of visualization when you add more information to it.
1. How your perfect day would be like?
2. Where would you be?
3. What would you be doing?
4. Whom are you with?

If you are imagining yourself on one of the Hawaiian beaches. You must get the feeling of yourself walking on the sand, the smell, the sound of the waves and the colours on the chaise lounges.
Or think like this, if you had the freedom and flexibility to do anything what would you do?
Be specific and try to make it as clear as possible.
You may ask, why is it important to write down your perfect day and visualize. Because when you do so, you make it attainable and you take action towards it.
You can never stay in the comfort zone forever. As I always say 'You are never in the same position. If you are not moving forward then you are obviously moving backward.'
So try to be uncomfortable and get out of your comfort zone.

Wanna know how my perfect day would be like?

I'm waking up early in the morning with a beautiful smile on my face. I look at the clock which says '5AM.' I walk towards my balcony and I'm looking at the beautiful garden in front of my house. I feel great and energized because I know this is going to be a great day. I prepare yummy breakfast for myself and wear my workout clothes quickly. I say goodbye to my Mom and leave for a morning walk and workout at a beach nearby. There's no one on the beach except me. The beach welcomes me with a chilled breeze. I feel blessed and thank God for everything he has given me.
After my daily morning routine I head to a park where my friends are waiting for me. We hug each other and have our pre-morning snack which is loaded with yummy food. We share a bundle of laughter and talks together.
I walk back home praising the beauty of nature and meet some beautiful people on my way.
Now, its around 8am and I plan to write something new for my blog. I have a sweet time on my balcony, writing inspiring songs and sharing my beautiful experiences with you guys.
When its nearly 9am I have Starbucks Coffee and drive to my gym. On my way I stop at 'The Lady - Shopping Complex' to meet my sister Shahmida. She owns the Mall.
At a nearby place I meet my sister Shamsheeda. She seems quite busy with her upcoming magazine for the month.
I then head to my gym where my clients greet me with a broad smile, ready to begin their morning workout. My sister Shaimah is also there among my clients.
After training my beautiful clients I go to a park to refresh myself at 5pm. I meet an inspiring role model of mine. We have an hour talk. I drive back home. I then spend some time with my parents and younger siblings.
At 7pm I walk to my Makeup Studio which is just near my house. I get back to work.
After work, it is now 9pm and I am going to a restaurant with my friends, family and my friends' family. We have an amazing dinner. We share our whole day experiences with each other and plan of meeting again soon.
I return back home at around half past ten. Today was a perfect day. I visualize how my next day would look like and then go to sleep with satisfaction. "

Perfect though fragmentary.

'You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.' ~ John Wooden

Beautiful people enter our life through beautiful experiences. Those experiences which have faced hard times.
Two years back a beautiful girl entered my life. A charming girl, with all her charm in her smile. Her smile was influential. She is practical and modest. This was the day she was born '3rd October.' A day to cherish and celebrate the sixteen years of my beautiful friend. Never did I know this person would become an important element of my life.
Those memories we shared together can never fade. As bright as it could be till the end of our lives. Even though I never expressed how much you mean to me, you really mean the world to me. :’) I love you dear.

Thank you God for giving me a priceless friend.

September Favourites!

#Back2School

Hey everyone! :)
I'm back with my favs for this month.

September Favs include mostly FOOD. :D It was a busy month, didn't get time to write or do much. So lets begin with my favs for this month! ^_^

Galaxy Chocolate Cake

This cake is yummilicious! I had these every week after school with London Dairy Caramel Ice Cream.

Baked Potato

I l-o-v-e baked potatoes! Baked potatoes are healthy as well as delicious. They inhibit cancer cell growth and are obviously better than fried potatoes. I love baked potatoes topped with yogurt & Chilli powder.

Neutrogena: Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub

I use it twice a day (morning and evening.) After using this scrub, my face never tightens nor does it feel dry. It gives a beautiful fruity smell that makes me feel refreshed. Try it out and let me know what you think about it.
Find it on amazon :  Neutrogena : Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub
Silver Latch back Hoop Earring

No one fancies earrings in my family. I'm the only one who loves to keep a huge collection of earrings. :)

Enchanteur Perfumed Body Lotion

After returning from India, due to climate change my skin got irritated. So I thought of trying this lotion. I use this lotion everyday after a bath. Enchanteur moisturises my skin and helps my skin stay refreshed and healthy the whole day.

Avalon Muscle Pain Relief Cream

This cream is not exactly a favourite of mine, but the friendliest cream of this month! Comes in handy after my Athletic events. Relieves Muscle pain really very quickly.

I will soon be writing a review for Neutrogena's Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub. :)

Till then,
See ya!
